2007 EASTER HOME-COMING KWAHU CITIZENS ABROAD FUND RAISING CEREMONY

Easter has become a tradition among the citizens of Kwahu in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Although it is celebrated throughout the regions in Ghana and around the world, the people of Kwahu traditional area are noted for their exclusive celebration of this special event. In recent times, foreigners travel all the way to Kwahu Mountains to witness the fashionable celebration of Easter. Kwahus are noted for their hardworking and kindness.

In principle, Easter celebration is used to foster unity and also becomes an occasion for the rich to give freely to the needy ones in their communities. During this festival, developmental projects are undertaking and completed one are commissioned as well.
